 My daughter and I spent the day at the Toronto Zoo. This was one of my favorite shots from our shoot. I love the profile of this gentle beast and the way the natural light from the glass pavillion sets the mood. I hope this shot does well for the lighting challenge

very nice photo, good contrast, color, sharpness. The shadow of the nose area seems a bit dark, maybe its lifted head, or facing the light.

I'm not fond of this shot at all. Aside from natural ligt there is no other lighting. However it is a nice photo, very crisp and nice choice in DoF. I think this would have been better in a different challenge. Good luck in tihs chalenge.

I feel so sorry for this poor chap, the lighting has brought out the texture of his skin well - an obvious criticsm that you probably couldnt avoid is the distracting frame in the background - good luck

i LOVE animals and i LOVE photos that convey the personality in the animal...what a big love bug...very nice textures and hairs on hands...etc..gj 8
