| nice greens, lines add interest. Crop out the bad shadow on lower left of leaf, make the dark/light lines do something too. |

| Some distracting elements in the background and an errant shadow on the bottom detract from this. For this type of shot (and I do think it is a good idea), a closer macro focus on the plant and slightly stronger backlighting might make it more interesting. Also, compositionally the split down the center is a little unappealing. Keep trying though. |
