 I know I will get really low scores for this because the link to the challenge is weak. I love how it came out though. Well. It looks much better without all the compression. PP rotate,dup layer, multiply at around 50%, vp, transparency, dodge and burn to give more shape to the wood. The original did have the main lighting, I just enhanced it. I can't believe I was able to hand hold this one.
Edit: For anyone that is interested. The title comes from the long curving piece looking like an arm and the main part of the smooth trunk looking like a belly. I really have to stop looking at what could be and start concentrating on what is.

Use lighting in a creative fashion this week so that the lighting itself is a key factor in your composition.
I'm not usually such a stickler for the 'rules' or the guidelines of the challenge. However here as hard as I look I don't see light being the key factor. The shot is not bad but at the same time not overly interesting either. I hope it does well and my comments are meant as constructive.
