I can't believe I missed such a beautiful photo. I love the soft pastel purples and blues - the color in this image is really powerful and helps to portray a mood. The shapes are another important element that keep me interested and make up a significant amount of the impact of the shot. Beautiful.

Okay, I really gotta get a better handle on my post processing. Really well seen from start to finish. I guess sometimes when the weather doesn't co-operate, you've just gotta make your own vision.

Hehehe... bear- This is a great shot - but I don't know that you've achieved your aim of showing beauty in the mundane (I recall from pre-challenge discussions). A beach at sunset is inherently beautiful :).

Whatever the case this is a really beautiful shot - I'm sure the 640 size doesn't do it justice.

Lovely colors, I like the footsteps in the sand and the minimalist look. Only thing is, it could have been rotated clockwise a tiny bit, I'm fussy about straight horizons...

Gorgeous evocative shot with very pleasing colors and "smoothness." The vertical points on the horizon line are minor, minor distraction points for me. The diagonal tracks tell a nice story, one of journey and passage. 9

that is beautiful, although I feel like I'm not seeing the best part of the scene. I'm not sure why, just wondering if a different composition might have captured the lines in smoother fashion. but i do like it...

Beautiful indeed - have visited Truro often, never seen it like this though! The composition is good with the zig zag sand leading the eye in. Only one slight winge is that the horizon is slightly off horizontal to me, which is a bit of a shame, good luck
