My husband and I got married in Vegas on 2/26/05. Instead of a unitiy candle we had a sand ceremony (fitting in the desert). We actually bought (colored) sand in Iowa and flew it there and back! Now the sand and jars are sitting in our hutch along with our wedding pics.

This had great potential. If you could have brought out the colors just a little bit more, I think it would have helped. I like the composition though. Great shapes.

Very soft and pretty. If anything I would have liked to see more space on the sides of the jars and not so smack in the middle, lower and a little to the side for a nicer angle..

i love the concept here and the colors chosen....you have taken a challenge about something gritty and made it beautiful

I believe this might be more interesting with some different lighting...did you use just a flash? The light is very harsh and a bit flat. Some spot light from the side somewhere might have given this more depth...more drama...also some side/angled lighting might have brought out some of the organza's sheerness and created some very interesting shadow play...there are so many possibilities and expensive lights simply aren't necessary! You should see some of my "lights"...el cheapo thingys you can get at the hardware store...have fun with it and give it a try! Improvising can be a whole lotta fun.

Very pretty. The lighting seems a tiny bit harsh.
