Of all the various ant shots for this challenge I like this one the best. The perspective, DOF, and crop all give the impression that it is taken from an ant's point of view. |

A most appropriate title! Beautiful natural color. The focus is only on the ant hill which is the subject "granular" and not on the background or even the ant so much. I love this picture AND TITLE because it reminds me that even the smallest of living creatures have homes of sorts. I'll think twice before I step on their "homes" again. |

Well, it was a little bit of work finding him, but I finally did. : ) Nice overall effect with the band of focus across the middle. Nice lighting, too, and I love the title. |
