It's not *really* candy to most, but it is too me!

Taken in my house. Lighting was from a single sixty watt bulb

Greetings from the CC!

MEETS THE CHALLENGE: IMO it didn't meet the challenge even though I love the stuff! :-P But not candy to me.

LIGHTING & FOCUS: light saturation is good but the yellowish tone draws away from the yummyness of it. A nice WB check would have solved this problem ro reducing the yellow saturation. Focus is good the somewhat shalow DOF isn't distracting to the eye and works well here.

COMPOSITION: I like the shot angle an the fact that we see some BG. It brings the focus back to the food. Your frame is clean and simple and not distracting. Good job on that one!

All in all a good photo. No WOW factor here though.

Keep up the good work!

I haven't had these in a long time--yum.

Yum. I love these things. While many here will not consider these "candy," I think that they fit the challenge well in Japan, and that's good enough for me.

Yin/Yang - nice angle of attach for the photo/heavily limits the focal frame. I like the middle section, very appealing - but since all this "stuff" comes from the same box - I get the feeling you're trying to "hide" something with this focus limitation. Color is great! Unique view of the challenge topic. 7 Rob the Swash

Some noise.....Looks tempting.....

I love it, but i don't think it is candy. It's more of a beer snack. I think also that a greater depth of field would help here, or maybe a straight-on shot from above.

Is this really candy over there. Very interesting. I haven't heard of these. Of course I live in a state that doesn't see or get anything new. Good luck.

Umm, I love that stuff. There's a little bit of a yellow tint to it. Use Levels/Curves to get a slightly more natual look.

I never thought of these as sweet, but guess they could be. Good shot, nice light.

I never really considered these things candy. The sweet cookied peanuts are good, but I don't think they are candy.
