Greetings from the CC!
You had some stiff competition ad you stil managed a top 40 finish! Good work!
I like this shot very much.... it relaxes me...
THEME: respected hands up!
COLOR AND FOCUS: both are spot on. From the light beige to the darker browns mixed in with some white, grey and a touch of blue. Magnifique!
COMPOSITION: I see research in this shot, especially with the angle chosen. IMO your crop is good. Cutting out more reeds would've lost the magestic quality of them.
All in all a great shot! Even the border fits! Keep up the good work!

how you envisioned this out of a whole field is amazing. the subject stands out and the effect of the wind is so prominent - it's easy to imagine myself there, arm outstretched! |

Interesting subject. I like the background, and the boarter works well here. I might have cropped this one a little narrower (the golden ratio). |

Great weather shot, those clouds look as they're just about on the stormy side. And you've actually captured the wind in those reeds, well done. I would have prefered the crop a little lower so that there's more sky in the image, but other than that a pic to be proud of! |

Excellent! I think the shot would have had more impact had the reeds been a bit brighter, but this is still one of my favourites this week. 7 |

Very nice shot. I like the angle that it was shot at. Nicely focused and shows depth. Does meet challenge. Will score high, I'm sure. Good luck this week. |

I must say I always try to take pictures of these very same weeds (name?) and I can never get them to come out just right. I'm jealous, you've simplified the mass of weeds, without losing the detail of them - And it meets the challenge. |

It is the unspoken effects of the wind which often tell the tale best. |
