 3x zoom into a kaleidoscope
Camera in macro mode, lens against the scope
Rotate, crop, resize, save for web
No other post processing

I wanted to do something different for this challenge. This was not my first choice, but after the crop and rotate, I liked how the red area appeared 3d and the whole shot took on a spherical look. It is very difficult to get a full sphere focusing into the kaleidoscope when zoomed but the detail is much better.

I figure either you love it or you hate it.

Interesting shapes and colors - I think cropping on the bottom might make a nicer composition - black on top and bottom draws my eye away from the subject. Seems a bit blurred.

The colors in this image seem a little soft to me...they lack a little bit of vibrance that would really make this photo shine! I like the composition, and I like the creativity of this shot. Definitely not something I saw other attempts of this challenge :-)
