A twist on the old saying.

Lighting was very difficult since I don't really have any flash or studio lights, etc.. Never have tried anything like this, but thought I would give it a shot.

Nice reflection capture. I think the lighting on the face is a little harsh though - it detracts from the focus on the eye. Maybe some burning and a tighter crop would help. I do really like the eye itself and beer reflection (I've never been able to accomplish this effect either!). Cool shot.

NICE ONE. I see you like eye shots as well. The skin tones and imperfections might be worked on a smidge, but the eye is spot on. Good focus and use of light in this one.

This is a good shot - nice reflection, I've NEVER been able to do that - but it doesn't fit the challenge. Good try, though. :)

nicely done but the eye looks a bit desperate for that beer.

This is a good idea, but I think you can do better. The skin seems to be too oily, the eyebrows are unkempt, and the catch light is not quite in the right place. Get an eyebrow waxing and put on some makeup to decrease the shine and even out the complexion.

Interesting perspective.

I "get" it, but it isn't saying "beautiful" to me. 5

The surrounding area around the eye looks greasy and unflattering. Careful post could have corrected this!

Lighting seems a bit harsh.

Sorry, but this just doesn´t strike me as beautyful...
Its also a bit overlit. Maybe it could work in b&w?

Title helps much, good idea, any way PP could help bring out the hidden subject more?

Nice sharp eye. The colors are just amazing.

I"m really not finding much beauty in any of these "eye" shots. They take up too much of the image, and I'm finding them rather creepy at best. <5>

Typical I thought in concept and execution is lacking.

The lighting seems a bit harsh and "unflattering"...maybe this would have been interesting in B & W?

this photo stands out from the crowd due to its subject matter. the eyebrow creates an interesting upper border.
