 This is Smokey, my adorable tabby cat. I wasn't going to enter in this challenge because I couldn't get inspired, but as I was looking through my 'descision' photos, I came across this random shot I took of him while he was lying on top of our rabbit's cage. He just stared straight at me, and I happened to have my camera in hand. I know it's not GREAT, but he IS a really beautiful cat.

crop, contrast, saturation, save for web-(resulting in slightly pixelated quality I couldn't avoid...)

Those little ear tufts look almost lynx-like. Well lit, although I think a greater dof could improve the shot even more. Still I do like it. (7)

Well I am a sucker for cats but I don't always love their portraits. Yours I do love. The only thing I miss is the tips of his/her ears. Lovely colors. Bright eyes. Beautiful cat.

Wonderful color/tones. That little bit of orange red in the nose really makes it for me and I also like the bit of purple cloth on the left. A bit deeper focus would have improved the image, imo. Very well done.
