| The B&W seems to work and make what would otherwise be a 'nice' shot into a 'beautiful' shot. Very nice! |

| Effective tones..composition works, the black background a strong choice-it compliments the desaturated look. |

| Very nicely done and love the crop. I'd love to see this in vibrant, highly saturated color though. This shot seems to cry out for vivid greens against a softly blurred background. Having chosen the BW though, you've achieved a beautiful tonal range and very pleasing depth. Nice job! |

| Great contrast, great lightning, good idea but there lack the flower to catch my eye, I think that using the rule of third to place some of the stronger flowers there might make it stronger. But it is just my humble opinion and I am not very good at this. |

| very, very nice capture...i think i would have liked to see the crop a little tighter on the bottom. perhaps at the bottom of that last full petal (or bud? i dunno nothing) about an inch from the bottom. great work, though! |

| This photo is very nice and well done, however, it did not make me say "it's beautiful" when it came up on the screen. Maybe if it were in color, it would have. |
