good rich tone and expressive pixel grain has a primitive feel - but aggressive sharpen is somewhat noticable. Good composition, excellent light and depth of field. |

nice capture, I just wish it was in living color not in sepia tones. 5 |

The balance between light and dark is so good here. I love the toning, you're the duontone guru! (kneels and bows) ;)
Perhaps the only flaw, perhaps it is insulting to say flaw, is the look as if it has had to much noise reduction. Don't get me wrong, for this type of photos I like the waterpaint look that is especially visible in the out of focus parts. It has the effect of a painting.
The specks of water work brilliantly, makes the photo more lively.

This is a great picture with good tones and perfect DOF. Just not at the top for "Beauty" for me. But still a wonderful shot. |

I am worn out from looking at flower shots..and then this..you have managed to really compose something wonderful here. Perfect shading and tones. Composition and DOF are wonderful. Great work. |

I like the tones in this picture. The narrow DOF leaves very little in focus and makes the composition almost abstract. The center of the flower seems overly processed. An odd combinationof real and unreal that leaves me a bit confused, |

IMO, I don't think it is beautiful. Nice try. |

I kind of like what seems to be the root of this image, but I don't much care at all for whatever it is that your processing has done to it - were it not for the depth of field, I would say it looks just like a 150% crop from a Fuji digital compact. Most odd, but too much about the weird process thing than about photography - in fact, I think you've actually masked the photography with this processing. |

I like the grain, but find your choice of sepia toning a questionable as there is a lack of contrasts that help to diferentiate the various parts of the petals. |

I absolutely love the photo, the black and white works excellent here which I usually wouldn't think it would with a flower image but here it is exquisite! Very nicely done. Best of luck to you! 10 |

mmh, I might be completely wrong but it looks overprocessed to me, the out of focus parts look filtered. creative shot though, not your average flower pic! 6 |

One of my top picks for this challenge! The clarity and detail is superb. Good composition and fantastic lighting. I like that you chose to leave the color off, it allows us to focus on the structure of the plant. |

I really like the creative take on this shot. Beauty is so subjective, though. I think it's a very good photo although it doesn't really convey "beauty" to me personally. I like the dof, the water droplets, the balance of the composition and I even like the tone (which I'm sure will get mixed reviews.) The lighting and exposure add interest and it's not a "flat" looking shot. Overall, a pretty high score from me. |

Some photos are much better in B&W. I personally think this is not one of them. I think this would have been much more powerful as a color entry. <5> |

A very "sensual" and moody image...so beyond being just another flowepicturer...nicely made. |
