The real beauty and your picture, is the fact that it took only 30 tries to achieve this result. The only reason I can't rate higher, is that I feel that there are some photos that are actually perfect in this challenge. Good colors in the sunset, good focus on your subject. |

Nice shot, great silhouette, but this isn't saying "beauty" to me. 5 for the quality of the image. |

Any more tries and you would have lost your sun. Good work overall! This picture just cracks me up...especially with the title! |

Very nice. This would have been very strong in the silhouette challenge. <7> Pushin' this one up a notch <8> Bumping this one up one last notch. I really enjoy looking at this image, and it deserves the extra credit. Very nice job! <9> |

The sharpening halo around this image is quite strong - a smaller radius of USM would work wonders, I should think; though of course it might just be a camera setting. It's a reasonably interesting silhouette - and certainly catches the right moment compositionally. I think I'd have preferred a perfect silhouette, rather than the very dark sense of the guy's face and clothes there is here. |

The house/shed/garage/wahtever it is in the bottom right hand corner is distracting. |

A striking pose/composition. The overexposure on the sky is a tad much, I feel, and the shoe laces are getting my eyes. I particularly like the hands, both the one that appears joined with the ball and the spread fingers on the other. Quite expressive. There's a tuft of leaves right on top of the shed/building roof on the right side that's also catching a little. But nice all the same. |

Pretty cool, would have done well in silhouettes too I guess, I like it. |

This is an interesting photo and maybe one more suited to the recent silhouettes chellenge. I wish I could jump that high, even without a basketball!! |
