Tough subject but excellently captured. Should be a top three finisher. Making this a silhuoette emphasizes the harshness and incomprehensible nature of suicide. Having the noose as the only item in sharp focus is ominously perfect. The only thing I might do different would be to keep the framing as is, but crop out a little more of the black border and leave just one side thick. Great job!

Did not consider title, image should meet challenge description visually.
Meets Challenge description........5
Technical..............4
Artistic..............5 The scale between the rope and the person seems to be wrong in return there is a cartoonish feel to the image I don't appriciate or even like.
Average 4 |

So many suicide photos. Compared to the many others, I felt this one was lacking. The area around the light and the image of the person is not sharp enough. I don't really know how the photo could be improved given the strong light and dark choice you made. |

Very Chilling, and poignant. The white and black contrast with the depth of field makes this an awesome shot. |

This photo is great and captures the emotion well. I like how it only has two colors and basic shapes yet it captures the feeling... The loose ends of the rope, the drooping curtains... Excellent work. |

I think we have enought evil in the world without people taking pictures of it, or even suggesting something so horrible. |

Did you use a net curtain over your window? If you did i don't think it works very well, less diffused lighting would have worked better for me. |

I'm finding the suicide theme just a little overdone, though this is a nice version |

I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. Suicide seems like a way out of decision. Nice entry though. |

This is a sad photo, but a very good depiction of a decision! I like the way you have silhouetted it, and the dark, heavy feel to it really fits with what you are conveying here. Good job!!!! |

somehow the rope doesn't look proportionate, but this certainly does a good job of generating emotions. |

Personally I would've liked the photo better without the rope. The person could've been making up her mind wether to go out or not, or something like that and that would've been decisive enough for me. Ignoring the rope, I like your photo, but the rope bothers me too much to vote above 4 |
