 A shot of an old bottle of Sauternes from my birth year (1959) that I have been keeping. I have to decide when to open it and wonder whether it will still be good or past its prime.

SB-800 flash in commander mode firing from behind left towards reflector to right.

Some minor raw corrections then decreased brightness and increased contrast. Neat image with mild sharpening, resized and saved for web.

HAve sneaky suspicion as to who this may be. Nice lighting, like the way the glass kinda gleams and you can see a reflection in it. The way the black background meets the beige counter (is it a counter?) is also appealing.

Beautifully done shot that requires the title to meet the challenge. The lighting is great and focus is really sharp...reflections in the glas are a little distracting but incredibly difficult to avoid, so I won't come down too hard about that. I suppose you could rig something up so there's a black screen in front too and shoot through a hole in it (that's just a thought here though, I've never tried anything like it).

A little clearer and this looks like it could be a magazine ad. So the decision is whether or not to open the bottle? It's older than I am.

could have done without the reflection...but i dont even know how to get rid of tht..therefore, cant vote you down for it. good luck

I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. To me, if it weren't for the title of the image, I'd have thought it to be a rather snazzy photo of wine.
