I like the contrast between the softness of human skin and the cold hard steel of construction. Very creative :) |

This is just a really great image...a picture of contrasts and perceived "ideals". Not only is it a nice image to look at...it also carries a subtle message...nicely done. |

Something surreal going on here. I like it! One of my top ten for this week. |

My favorite image so far. Nice suble soft colors on the poster and then the hard lines and bright yellow of the construction behind make this image incredibly compelling. If it were possible to completely cut out the glimpse of wall at the bottom it might be even more unearthly. 10. |

I think this photo would be more succesful in some other competitions. It is very skilfully constructed but the woman is the main object, not the building. |

I like this one because I think it can be symbolic. It has the construction tearing this person who is at peace and getting a massage. Or it can be the split between commercialism and how things really are. And the title makes me think "Beautification" hmmm reminds me of how people, and a lot of women, are trying to look "pretty" but it is destructive and changes you, remakes you.

This photograph is one of my favorites in this challenge. Very creative. Like a peek at the construction site through the torn poster. Stunning lighting, the bright bulldozer, muted overall tone. Hope you explain how you shot this. 10! |
