Cropped, resized. Some sat to make the toy bluer, and some unsat to remove the yellow behind her head. Some curves to increase contrast. Did some dodgeing on the eyes to brighten them up, and some healing brush to remove a shado from her hair under the one eye and on her nose. Neatimage to remove some noise in the blue toy (shot at ISO400). Did a layer for high pass sharpening and did a mask to sharpen the face only. Did a USM layer and did a mask to sharpen the eyes only. For what it's worth now afterwards, this is a beautiful photo and framed oh yes! Very good use of fill in flash. Didn't vote on all the images in the challenge due to connection problems but would have voted high on this image because I love character and expression and this one sure has all of that...

For what it's worth I thought this was a wonderful study of childhood discovery, great exposure and skin tones. Sorry I didn't get time to comment, scored a 8 from me!

Nice portrait, sure, but it isn't what I see as "naturally framed" but more like "artificially framed". I think you used a little too munch Neat, as the face looks too "plastic" to me. I don't mean OOF or soft focus, as the hair is sharp, but texture less.

Great shot!! Colours are lovely, excellent focus and the expression on her face is delightful. Underrated in this challenge.

Very nicely done. What an atypical child's portrait. Love the blue aside her darling face. Nice use of lighting. This could be the winner!!!

elegant and simple, it shows that a frame does not have to be on all sides
