David... congrats on another fine Oregon Coast image. I like it a lot. Your image looks down toward where I was a teen councilor for a church camp for 4th-6th grade boys when I was in HS many moons ago.

Difficult shot to make: water line that bends, a mountainous horizon that isn't level, and a tree (on the left) that doesn't stand up straight . . . but you pulled it off well. Good choice keeping the tree on the right partially in frame to give the appropriate orientation. Nice title, too.

Pretty. I'm not sure if I would have chosen black and white for this shot. I bet the blue water was very pretty!

I like this shot, although the focus seems to be on the trees, but they frame the ocean beautifully...7

I thought when I first saw this in the thumbnails that I didn't care for the B&W in this shot, but now that I've really looked at it I can see that it really works quite well. This pic shows the beauty of the coast in a serene manner, instead of presenting it in an in-your-face, travel agency advertisement style. This is a fresh treatment of a beauutiful view.

Im not sure if B&W was the best choice for this photo. i think i would have tried to keep the color of the beach and the ocean while making the trees black.IMO this would have given this photo that wow factor. good luck

I would love to see this photo in color! The ocean has such beautiful hues, it seems a shame to miss them! Good composition though with the framing.
