`Spencer Dock's distinctive offices and luxurious apartments are Ireland's most ambitious regeneration project.
The developers are creating a new city quarter in the heart of Dublin, with leisure and shopping amenities and transport links that offer easy access to the city and beyond.`

I wanted to capture the explosive nature of this project. The view is from my balcony! Nice isn't it?

I did about 20 shots yesterday and found them uninteresting.
I checked the sunrise time and stood outside for over 2hrs watching the changes in the sky and waiting for a few things to come together.

I wanted drama in the dense clouds & the bright areas glowing and enough light on the building site for some detail. I also I wanted a bird!
I chose this from about 80 shots.

apocalyptic, stark, primal all mixed in together might capture a partial sense of this image's power content. Punchy processing, admirable dedication (2 hours???).

As stark as the construction itself. Great luck having the seagull in the image too.

I really like the composition of this shot--but the noise in the sky/clouds detracts from the rest of the shot. Nice work, overall.

Interesting effect. Although the sky appears slightly grainy, the detail is there, especially with the bird.

Impressive.. Dark, strong, looks like a few hundred years old. The frame matches, too. Great!
