A photo of a section of Peterson Creek in Peterson Creek Park. This is the view from a hole formed by a log, and the creekside.

This is about as naturally framed as it gets folks.

Processing = Cropping, Resizing, levels, a color balance adjustment layer, some minor dodgin in the shadows of the log at the top, and some sharpening.

Simple and very endearing. Bumping up.

Well done, may look a little better zoomed in more (bringing the leaves on the right all the way to the edge, excentuating the inner rockery as the frame and giving the water a more prodiminant presence in the image.

While the water is supposedly the main subject of the picture, I can't help but to keep wandering away from it. What catches my eye the most is the light wood in the bottom right, and then the leaves on either side. The water doesn't seem to stand out enough to make an impression on the viewer.
