 Hand held from parked car window. Machine was heating the road for the one behind it that laid the asphalt. The town FINALLY got large enough for the city to do this at night...at least the main drag!

This is such a strange image but totally mesmerizing...I can almost feel that overbearing heat and smell the asphalt...great abstract feel. Such a simple image yet so deep...lush almost...nicely seen.

I like this shot..I can feel the intensity of the heat, black surrounding adds to the shot creating contrast.

This is a nice image, but without the title, the viewer is lost in identification. Just a little more detail in the image, would have made this a much stronger image, in my mind. <6>

Whoa, awesome colors! The bright orange against the black is amazing. It would have also been good in the Darkness contest. This is a very very cool or Hot shot! Lol, great job!
