Very first member challenge. I hope this does okay and doesn't get the brown ribbon. :) And I hope people consider the framing natural enough.

Not too happy with the shot. It looks a little flat, like a drawing to me, so I expect to get some comments on that. I'm not sure what I did to make it that way, but maybe some comments will offer suggestions!

great framing. i'm not sure how many people realized the almost perfect symmetry you created, but also that you left the shot very dynamic with the building jutting off to the right. That flag pole is extremely unfortunate, and i believe the culprit in the flatness you mentioned. the shot draws the eye in so well and then the flag pole stops it. it also distracts the curve of the dome, which would compliment your arches oh so well. i do believe you have an eye for shooting "great photos", unfortunately the situation and lighting doesn't always cooperate. If you can't wait, Photoshop will help if you let it.

Amongst my pick for top 3, just the flagpole spoils it for me. Good luck 10.

I like the balance and harmony of color, maybe a whole wall in a smaller room? D. Kostrzab, I'd buy it.

This could be outstanding with more contrast. Maybe a black and white conversion?

A little heavy on the sharpening but the image works well anyway.

I believe the building being in focus more so than the frame may have been better?

great shot. very professional. i would have cropped a tiny bit off the top to get rid of the first white line.

A little unimaginative, but an extremely well done photo, I like how clear and vivid the stone is.
