A graceful male duck on a sunny day. The green in the duck's head further accent the vividness of nature surrounding it.

Looks interesting, but it's too small to tell for sure.

Neat scene, but oh so overly saturated (restraint needed). This is a male mallard duck (what's with the title?). I like your framing. The reflections in the water look very nice, but I keep coming back to the saturation issue. 6 Rob the Swash

Beautiful with the reflections; does look pretty low res here; nice colors though.

Perhaps your title should have been Psychedelic Duck? I'm unsure what effect you were going after, but this one turned out pretty wierd.

Nice idea but too saturated.

you've messed too much with the colors

cool shot. i like the overexposure. it seems to me that the horizon is at an angle which i find distracting. i love the ripples in the water.

Strange colors in this one... - 5

nice photo. good job.

The picture is too small and from what I can see, the duck's flanks are overexposed. If you camera has it, try centre-weighted or even spot metering next time.

too small to see much.. nice abstract water
04/24/2003 07:08:52 AM
nice color, but the subject is a little far away, maybe the size of the image could be bigger, also a polarizing filter might have separated the subject from the reflections on the water better.

Lots of noise in the background.
04/24/2003 06:10:53 AM
This pic could do with being made a bit bigger.

The subject made me laugh, good one! The composition is very good and the reflections in the water effective. A little out of focus though which might have happened when you saved for the web.

bit overprocessed to really get the feel of your shot..its too busy with the mass of reflections.
04/23/2003 01:39:44 PM
abit over-exposed, great color.

Good shot although the background is a little distracting. However, it is not a mandarin, but a mallard duck.

A little larger photo would be nice here... the exposure on this one seems a little hot as well... - setzler

Too much saturation, too small.

Quality isn't great but very nice composition. 7-Martin

either it's overexposed or you played with the saturation too much...not sure which. like the composition though. that's a tough shot to pull off.
04/23/2003 01:43:31 AM
Looks like the saturation is up too high, photo too small and distorted to really see what's happening here.
