Makes the viewer check his footing. Am i rising or falling? Very impressive and so convincing. 8 on my first round. An outstanding entry that deserves my highest vote. Bumping to 10. Best of luck. |

Excellent exposure...is this achieved using the shadow/highlight function in PS CS? |

Brilliant! Great eye! I would have moved it a little more to the right, to get all of that mushroomy thing in the shot, especially since the far left doesn't add much worth cutting out the right. Excellent job though. |

Wow, this is good! I love the way you managed to keep the details in the wood without blowing out the sky. 9 |

Very good capture and quite interesting. I wish there was more emphasis on bringing out the wood textures during editing as this would have offset the image being too dark. Either way, I like it. 6 Good luck! |

I like the way the picture leads you right to the sky and still can see the detail in the frame. |

I love how even though it is dark, you can still see all the detail in the wood. Great picture! |

IN this image, the frame is far more interesting than the main subject. I love the wood textures, and the curves, and knots, and colors, but it's never a good idea to have the frame overpower the object it is framing. <6> |

I'm dizzy. ;-) This is a great concept and definitely fits the challenge - maybe too much so - meaning too much frame, not enough of the "framed". Very unique and interesting nonetheless. |
