I picked him up and placed him there. He fell off... poor little bugger. I took more pictures of him. He charged me nothing. I took more pictures of him, and then.... I squashed him like a bug, smash! Just kidding! :) I released him.

Good, tight composition. Seems over exposed/saturated.

The white flowers seem a little over saturated but it is difficult to get a good balance with such contrasts as you have here.

Good job capturing one of these! I've tried a couple times in the last 2-3 weeks, and they won't stay still long enough! Nice shot. DOF is good. Reflection off the ladybug's back is a little strong, but not too bad.

whites are blown out, but it makes the flower look like its made out of popcorn or puffed rice. :) very cute.

Pretty. Crop tightly around the flower, since it's central anyway and that's the focus. The empty space arounbd the edges is wasted, IMHO.

Great job. Light and dark are hard to do.

This is a hard situation to get the proper depth of field for maximum impact. For the most impact, only the ladybug would be in sharp focus. To do this you would probably have to shooting from directly above the ladybug and selecting a larger aperture (smaller number) and possibly using a macro lense so you could get very close.

The gleam off the ladybug's shell is really nice!
