This was going to be my "naturally framed" submission up until Sunday afternoon... when I switched it out for another photo I really thought was much stronger and better tied to the challenge.

HAH!!!!!!

The new submission is tanking badly.
So much for thinking I know anything about DPC challenges.. after 60 or 70 challenges, you'd think I'd have a better understanding.. but honestly, I'm absolutely fucking clueless.

What really frustrates me is that I can recognize a ribbon winner when I see one during voting.. but can't actually take one for the life of me.

That is just as cute as can be. Love everything about it. Nice composition and detail.

Oh boy..I think you should have submitted this one for sure..the other was a nice shot, but this captures a much stronger moment..sorry to rub it in but this is an easy choice.

Composition of this shot is delightful. Perfect focus on her face, the tongue....but it's those fingers that make the shot for me. Great shot!!

Hehehe... yep,... you chose wrong. I'd put this somewhere in the high fives early sixes. :). Ah well, live and learn eh? (eh thrown in for the benefit of your Canadian sensibilties).

It is a very good candid picture in my opinion. It is a question of interpretation as how much it is "naturally framed" (for me it is not too much). I would give it probably "6", mostly for originality, composition and the mood.
