Yeah, I know it didn't exactly meet the challenge, but I went out to find something for the challenge and was coming up with a ton of really boring shots. I threw them all out and decided to put something in that was 'construction' related but might give viewers something different to look at to break the monotony of orange cones.
I was really surprised at the excellent photo's in this challenge. I though voters would be getting sick of similar boring shots, but that wasn't the case. I loved so many of the shots in this challenge I couldn't pick a favorite.
Needless to say, I won't do this again as it seems to have ticked some people off. I really did feel I was within the outter limits of the challenge. I wasn't trying to 'test' people or break the rules...
Oh well. Live and Learn. |

Sorry but the theme of construction fails ne. However the shot is clear and dettailed. As a photo with the shallow background, it is really good. |

The picture does not have a (strong) link to construction. Technically the butterfly is too dark. |

This is a nice image and process very nicely, buit I can not make the connection from photo to challenge description as hard as a may try. |

Just about qualifies for "construction" |

Good photo- I might play around with the wings on this, up the saturation or such.
Afraid to comment on the fact that this has no resemblence to construction whatsoever due to the fear of being ridiculed for being an unimaginitve voter! (but I digress..) |

Now this shot I like very much, very sharp, good colours and contrast and excellent bokeh, love the DOF.
However, I don´t see any ties to construction whatsoever so I scored it as if it didn´t mee the challenge, sorry but I would have given this an 7-8 if the challenge had been a macro or flowers or butterflies. |

A bee building a hive I can take. This I just can't. If it were for a butterfly challenge, I would give it a 6. Sorry. |

No no no. Too much of a stretch here. Nice shot, but portfolio fodder, not contender. |
