if this was taken in the wild i would give it a 10 but seems as the subject is still and not exactly much effort to go to the zoo!! i would settle for everyday animals or at least wild ones, you don't need to go for the rare ones to score points!

| Nice catch, I really like the feel of this one and he/she has such a great expression--but I think I'd like it better if you cropped off the branch to the right, you'd lose some of the animal, but I don't think you need the whole thing. Just an idea... |

| Very distinquished guy or gal, but very sad. With the exception of the annoying stick in the foreground, which I know couldn't be helped, this well composed. He/she is framed nicely in the picture. The lighting is good. It's just over-sharpened. Good luck in the challenge. |

| My biggest problem with this photo is the branch sticking up in the right side of the picture. You don't KNOW if it's a male or female :)? |

| Good capture of the monstrous meditating monkey! The bars are evident, but there is a dignity on the creature's face that makes you love the photo. |

| Great approach to the subject, however, there seems to be some really wierd noise / chromatic effect going on here that is very distracting to the overall shot. |
