I think the grain adds to this image and gives it its own 'feel.' |

Thank you everyone for the comments and votes, I know I didn't ribbon but this is my highest ranking and placing image yet. I'm not sure if I'm getting better or you all are slipping...lol kidding. I had originally shot this as a silhouette with a much better sky, but thought that maybe there would be too many similar shots and I wanted more detail that I just couldn't seem to get with a fill flash (kept getting the grass only) so I did post processing which I'm not that great at but am learning.
Thank you again for everyones comments and votes, I'm hoping this doesn't stay my highest rated for long. :)

Perfect composition for this shot--a little oversat on the lower part of the sky, but great colors--it really sets this beast off :) Good job! |

Nice shot, but in the grass and on the shovel of the machine, it looks a bit noisy, was that intentional? |

play with the saturation and contrast a bit to improve this nicely taken photo |

Great idea; I love the colors. A little too grainy for a higher score. |

Very nice image. Great title as well. Beautiful sunset, but enough light to identify the "mighty giant". This is amoung my favorites in this challenge. I think it will do very well, and probably net a ribbon. Good luck. <9> |

I feel really good about this shot. You managed to keep emotion in this challenge. I also commend you on choosing a great title. This title doesn't EXPLAIN the photo. The photo certainly speaks for itself! But the title compliments the photo perfectly. Good job, and best of luck. |
