This is just beautiful! The light is a bit harsh, but the backlighting on the wings works very well. Great color choice.

the brown background is perfect for this. The bird looks a bit over processed though as their is a halo around the tail feathers

Your choice of toning sets this apart.. I don't care much for the centeredness but it is a very nice effort

Lovely light, nice angle. Composition ok, not bad just not striking either. Brown toning is interesting... 8

I like this. Did you try b/w? I think it may have been more effective that sepia. Nice either way.

i really like the solid background, and the toning you used. too many shots in this challenge were very busy. your's is a great example of less is more.

Very nice lighting and color turned a plain old gull shot into a neat photo.

What I like: Composition, sharpness, good use of border, sepia and overall lighting. Dislike: Underwings are too dark and moreso the bird's left wing. Regardless, this shot is going to rank way up there. Good luck!

Love this. His halo is great. Super idea to do it in sepia. Nice and crisp on the focus.

There are about 5 seagulls in flight including yours and mine. Well done, this isn't nearly as easy as it looks. Interesting use of sepia - different and it does work, well done. 8
