Hi and greetings from the Critique Club.

Judging from the title, and giving you the benefit of the doubt, I'm reckoning that you're referring to the process by which the field reclaims/restores the car. I'll go on that premise, and say that in my opinion, this meets the challenge theme. Obviously, most voters hammered you based on their interpretation of the challenge theme, and I do hope that won't discourage you from trying to get interesting angles/ideas in the future.
The shot itself:
I feel the crop is a bit awkward. If I'm correct in presuming that you intended the primary subject to the the field of weeds, then the foreground and dof options are justified, but I do feel a landscape approach, rather than a vertical one, would have worked better. The tall stem right in the foreground is a big distraction for me, particularly as they obscure the focus areas of the image, ie the weedy flowers right behind them.
The image feels flat, and not contrasty enough. I'm personally a big fan of higher contrast levels. But even if I weren't that keen on hyped up contrast, this image would still be lacking on that aspect, I'd think. The washed-out sky is a bit of a let down as well, and I get the feeling that you might have been shooting either too much into the direction of the sun, or at a time of day when the sun is very harsh. The top of the car is blown out, and I'd say a change of angling might have worked better.
That said, and again if I were correct in my presumptions about your intent, it's a different approach to the challenge and I am glad to say that it would be one that if coupled with a stronger image, would have netted better treatment from the voters. Good luck.

Can't / Don't want to see the link to the challenge theme.

I think you missed the challenge description. Nice image and would have been better if more of it were in focuse. If you look, the center of the image is in perfect focus where the foreground and back ground needs some more focus...I suggest that you try to understand how to set your camera up to improve your "depth of field" in this situations... Not hard to do just requires a little understanding of light and how the settings on the camera work. In this case (brights light) you want to shoot with the smallest appreture possible. You can do that with your choice of ISO speed or shutter speed.

Although a nice photo, even with the title it doesn't seem to fit the challenge to me.

Not theme related, comp needs work, levels need work

I really like the idea you were pursuing in this image. If it was mine, I'd experiment with depth of field a lot. This image needs something to be in focus, and it can be done... My favorite advice: Bracket, bracket...

I like the picture, but the car seems to be fuzzy, or out of focus.. 6

I thik the focus either needed to be on the foreground flowrers or the car. I like the shot, but it lacks a focus point in my oppinion.

Nice image, but I really can't make the connection to construction... Feel free to PM me to explain...
