I don´t know what filter or effect you used to get that contrasty gloss effect but it´s not really working for me at all, sorry. Other than that it looks like a nice shot, I would have tried to get all of them in the shot though, the guy on the far left has a steel bar over his face.

Focus seems really soft to me and a bit overexposed.

Nice idea but there is something wrong with the post processing. Not sure if you put an unsharp mask over a blurry photo or what. It's very flat

Way too much processing here.

I really enjoy the interaction you got from your models and think the human element in this submission sets it apart and above many others in this particular challenge. Regrettably, from a technical perspective, it seems oversharpened.

great subject, but focus flaws less the quality.

This physically hurts my eyes to look at. Possibly it was over-sharpened, or maybe its been cropped alot, i'm not sure about that. I am sure that having more focus and detail in the re-bar would make for a much better picture.

that guy is so proud of his twisted metal. extra points for that!

Fun photo, intereting line, and you even got them to smile for you! Neat. Needs to be a little sharper, though.

The rough, unfinished look suits the subject perfectly. Although many won't, here is one who "got it." Looks like a Norman Rockwell painting. This BG is a bit cluttered, but I know, that is how a construction site is.

Whoa... that's some whacky contrast (or way, way oversharpened) there...!
