This is a great example of how to put a wide angle lens to best effect. Well done.

You should put this into a tutorial called, "perspective" ;)
Great use of super wide angle to accentuate the size of the digger thingy, the sky is dramatic and provides a good backdrop. Bummer about the ISO but it came out fine after the noise editing software :) I messed up a few good shots that way hehe.
Kudos on your top 5, man :) |

Unique perspective here! Now if I can just clean that ...spot off... my monitor... dang - won't come off! (just kidding - never even saw it) |

Perhaps one of my favorites because the use of the extreme w/a lens gives this image a magnetic attraction. Like one knows what it is but then the novel presentation invites a second and third look. This is like lifting the mundane to an aesthetic level. You get that extra bump in score. |

I think this has great composition, good colour, and the tilted horizon is very effective. |

I'm not usually a big fan of the tilty view thing, but in this case I really like it! I also really like the wide angle distortion...you have made this huge piece of construction machinery interesting to look at. |

I really like the perspective of this shot, the scoop looks so big compared to the rest of the machine, also the colors are so bright and vivid all works really well together, nicely done. |

very good perpsective for composition. Something about the colors doesnt seem right to me. It might be that i just dont like orange and purple... but whatever... i think the photo needs just a little sharpening but overall nice photo and good job! |

now THIS is photography! I can hear it growl as it reaches. tilted horizon is very effective. if anyone gives you a problem about the horizonnot being level, they are technicians - not artists. |

I think this photo would be succesful in some other competitions. A skillful usage of wideangle, dramatic composition and strong colours. I like this pic a lot but I find no construction in it. |

Very cool perspective here. I often times see people 'skew' the angle on their shots just for the sake of skewing, or trying to be artsy. In this case however, I find it works very well. Also some nice textures going on. Nice shot. |
