 This is a picture of Toronto's Royal Ontario Musem (ROM) undergoing construction of which was an architectural bid of who was going to design the new updated modern rendition of the ROM. I have tried to capture a rendition of the old with the new within the busy downtown Toronto intersection in the heart of Yorkville... Toronto's trendy upscale Bloor Yorkville area.

I like the balance of the shot. Is the construction area in the center meant to be the main subject? If so, I think it's a bit too dark...hard to make out what's happening. I find my eye gravitates toward the bicyclists on the lower left, then on the cars... and I dont' think that's what you intended?

This image would have been special if you'd been able to catch the light at a different time. As it is, all the good detail is in shadow...

I'm confused at what I'm looking at. Is this some kind of structure going up? Or is it a structure that's come down? I don't know how you could have done better, but the cars, bicycles, pedistrians, and stop lights are a distraction.

By your title, I know that you meant to have the people and cars in the shot, but i think a cropped photo of the church and scaffolding would have made a nicer composition
