Nice capture. Uneven lighting will keep this from finishing where it deserves. |

This is nice, but one eye sits slightly higher than the other and it really bothered me... still great shot overall |

Like the texture of the feathers shown in this photograph. Very dramatic photograph using the tight crop and three colors, emphasis on the eyes. Very well done! |

Close crop = dynamic and intense. Shadowy around the left but nice eye detail. Don't think it needs selective desat myself, but that's personal taste. 7 |

Wow. This photo is awesome. The only suggestion that I may have is to slighty rotate the photo counter clockwise to level out the eyes. |

I find the overall image a bit too dark and the eyes way too dark. They need to be lightened as they are the image's major focal point. The more I look at it, the more it looks like a partial desaturation job. Either with colour of partial desat., you need to bring out those beautiful eyes more by intensifying their colour and brightening them up. |

This is the best owl photo in the entire challenge -- including mine! I love the tight crop, focus is sharp, feather details are fine, the expression in the eyes. Great job. |
