Nice looking bird, but the grainy effect is not doing you any favours. The black and white background is also very distracting. |

The bird looks a tad grainy to me - perhaps this shot was compressed a lot...? |

picture lacks interest. the fence doesn't add anything to this picture. edges could have been cropped so the subject was more prominant. |

Unfortunately, it's hard to get close to these birds to get a nice clear shot, but it's a must. I can tell that you compensated by sharpening because it caused a lot of artifact that's fairly distracting. However, the colors are nice and I am able to see some detail in the markings of the robin. Good luck in the challenge. |
