| i think the light distracts a bit too much from the subject. when i shoot birds i put my camera into fast shooting mode and use the manual focus so i can take tons of shots quickly because these damn things move around too quickly. |

| Looks like this guy decided to leave as you were taking your shot. Too bad about the lamp post being in the way, or it could have been a great shot. |

| I think if the seagul was reversed with the light, this photo would have been far more effective. Too bad you weren't standing on the other side *grin* However the composition is unusual and I like it. |
