| Well I liked this in the challenge and voted an 8 for it, What I liked was it was all up front and filling the frame and it came out to meet you , sharp and the plumage shows up, Down side was the background it did nothing and was a distraction.A closu up on the owners shouler would have been an option as well. |

| Nice shot, but it doesn't do much for me. Also the cage bars in the background are somewhat distracting. |

| I think this could have been a real strong entry, but it's way too dark (IMHO). There's really nice detail in the feathers, but the contrast and/or shadows really detract from the image. Also, it would have been nice to see more of the parakeet's eye. You've got some great color going on, and like I said the detail is good too, but it's overall too dark (IMHO). Sorry (4). |

| Her colors really stand out! What a sweetie. I like the detail and lighting. Wish the photo was a bit lighter. :) |
