Challenge: Birds (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S7000
Location: Eyjafjordur, Iceland
Date: Jun 11, 2005
Aperture: f/7,0
ISO: 160
Shutter: 1/500

A bit far for my lens but at least it is a try, worked on levels, brightness, contrast and burn. Cropped and resized. Used my zoom lens (the only one for FujiFinepix S7000) which I haven't been able to add to my tools since I don't find it - have asked about it.

This was on a quiet Saturday morning I was by the sea walking my dog. This boat came by and I was thinking that the seagulls where pretty relaxed about it.

This one is yours Lára!!! Brilliant!
Það er eins og ég segi, við hugsum alveg ótrúlega líkt, mér fannst myndin sniðug og svo öðruvísi en allar þessar dýragarðsmyndir..

Beautiful image. I don't think the title will help you score. A little bit of levels work might have added some punch. Still, as it is, it's among my top picks.

Rotating to correct horizon tilt would make a massive difference. Otherwise nice. 6

The pronounced list to port is distracting for me.

The birds arec to small in the frame, and are not the main emphisis of this image, but this is a stunning image when all is said and done 10

The pic seems to be tilting to me..... also the birds really don't strrike me as the subject.

nice to watch but those birds hardly are the subject of this picture.. they're just adding to it (and not much). 7

Image tilts a bit to the left, maybe a better crop would've been in order? Otherwise, great photo.

This would be SO much stronger if you had leveled the seriously skewed forizon line. It's a lovelky, moody image.

yes, you have some birds in this shot. They are those tiny little things on top of a large rock in an even larger body of water, which contains a very interestingly colored boat, in front of BIG, magnificent mountains.
The photo is VERY beautiful, but IMO those birds have no hope of being the MAIN SUBJECT, as called for in the challenge description.

Very pretty landscape, although the horizon is tilted. I feel the birds are far too small to serve any purpose other than a backdrop (or foreground drop) for the landscape.
