Shot with a 300mm. An experiment, really. I opted for a bit more symmetry and wanted to play with the black space. Also torn between more sharpness and more blur. Thanks for looking.

It does not seem to be in focus. The highly centered position of the candle looks out of place in relation to only the top half having any thing.

Nice image of candle light. Except for the yellow hue that is at least partly generated by the camera there really isn't anything major wrong with this image. It just doesn't have lots to draw the attention of the viewer.

I think the composition would have worked better for me if the candle had been in the lower part of the picture rather than the top.

If you look at my one and only picture on this site (the second is in this challenge) You'll know that Im not really qualified to say this, but I would have lowered the center focus of the flame, giving more of the darkness above. However, this is still an excellent capture in my opinion.
