It's definately a Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago), not a Redshank:

I'm glad you decided to include the barbed wire, it adds interest and the colors match the bird nicely. |

Clear, the background is nicely blurred so it doesn't compete, and the subject is well lit. The only thing I would have done different would be to have put the bird off to the side a little instead of in the middle of the frame. |

I like the barbed wire fence/post, bird, focus, clarity, dof. I think the blueish object behind the bird is a distraction. Nice job. |
