 Fed by winter rains, desert cactus blossom in many different colors in the Spring. Insects rush madly about pollinating them just before unbearable Summer heat sets in. You can see the scattered pollen from their frantic work in this image.

Amazing the way you've brought that pink to stand out so prominently. I think the DOF along with the bland colored background is the reason for this. The composition and lighting is excellent.

Should crop the LLC so that little bit of pink is gone. Otherwise a very crisp picture. Nice job.

A great job for bright sunlight. The petals seem to be a little oversaturated, you may have placed something to block out some of the sunlight to make the color less bright and truer. 9

I love all the flower shots, and yours is beautiful, colors are great and you have made nice use of the rule of thirds.

I would have liked to have seen the petal on the lower left cropped out. Love the contrast of color and graytones. The dramatic lighting also helps this photo out, along with good use of leading lines.
