I went out to the local park to take some night shots of an empty park bench, but, as I looked at the LCD, the picture wasn't carrying the emotional impact I was looking for. So I grabbed my remote out of my pack and put myself in the picture and tried to stay completely still for five seconds. So, yes, that's me and no, thank you, I'm not in need of a hug.

Also, it was a real monster trying to get this stuff into focus. I was less than completely successful. It was really dark out there with just a lamppost thirty yards away to try manually focus as the automatic couldn't grab on to anything. I should have brought a flashlight.

This picture and the way he is sitting reminded me of "Forrest Gump" lol

Seriously, though very nice image, I like the coloring.

self portrait might be better with more surrounding detail placing the subject in context.

Contrast needs to be better. I dont know how Sepia helps in this case.4.

Nice title. Really puts it into perspective. I like the highlights visible on his body and legs. The large tree in the background effectively serves to emphasize the feeling of despair.

This just looks underexposed. You need to create the feeling of darkness, not just make the image more dim.
