I know it was not great. I never could get the lightening right. Wanted a band of light just to cross the eyes and wanted no light on the arm joint. It was fun practice though. Thanks to all those who voted. |

There are a lot of images like this in this particular challenge. Yours has good clarity and fine detail without unwanted electronic noise caused by low light levels. Content and perspective is good. Clarity is exceptionally good.
There are so many similar images to this it will be hurt in voting because it will not be thought to be particularly creative or different from the rest.
On the technical side you might consider applying color/contrast processing to better bring out the wonderful colors of your 'subject' to give it more visual impact. |

I'm afraid this shot won't rate very well as it's a toy/figure, which is kind of like taking a photo of a statue, which I did once & got hammered for it. Good luck. |

Well, I wanted to be spooked out when I saw the thumbnail, but this is one of the cutest monsters I've ever seen. Great composition & great lighting - well done! |

I'm sorry, but pictures of masks and figurines need to be pretty special to make it. |

Meets challenge well. Love the way you lit it, and the clarity and detail are very nice. One of the best of the challenge. |

haha....did you buy this from the lady on ebay who sold the monster under her child's bed? great creative idea....just enough use of light to make it really seem real. I give this a 10, and hope to never see one of these under my bed! |

It would have been cool if you had shown part of the bed frame or had a blanket dangling from the top of the picture. |
