Composition - Interesting subject, one I never would've thought of but it seems to work pretty well. The framing is good and the lighting works pretty well. The blurred out background is very nicely done. I think you really maximized your subject in terms of composition.
Technical - A little out of focus. I think really that's the only thing that I don't like about this picture is that it isn't as sharp as it could be. Like I said, the lighting and framing are good. The DOF is very good. If it could be just a little sharper, I think it would've done considerably better.
Overall - This is a pretty nice image. I think it needs just a little something for a real eye-catcher to give a definite focal point. A dewdrop or a few drops to catch a little light and draw the attention of the viewers. Overall a pretty good image that just needs a little more sharpness and maybe just a little crop off the top and right and I think you're there. Good job and good luck - Inspzil |

| Choice shallow DOF! An excellent image, good job! The only thing that bothers me is the little twig at the top right hand corner, it keeps pulling my eyes over in that direction. |

| I like the spiderwebs--it took a while before I saw them, but they really give the effect of how long these buds have been dried out. |

| Unique shot. Really creative. I can even see the little cobwebs. The focus is a little off and some detail is lost. Still the texture is really nice. |

| so far, i think this fits the challenge the best. flora is of a time and this would be in the past. if I am correct, that spiderweb really adds to the pic. very nice detail and good grouping and cropping. |
