 darkness means morbidity.. shrouded in darkness, my mind will take me places i lack the eloquence to describe..

I enjoyed this picture in the challenge, and forgot to look at the surroundings. :-p

This is certainly an interesting image to say the least, I'm not sure I understand what is going on here, or if I want to for that matter lol.

A very good b/w with great tonal strength. The only distraction is the white thing on lower left as it is not identifiable and it is being accented by the shadow of the hand. Regardless, a good image.

Nobody can say this is a dull photograph. The tones are perfect and the black point is right. Clarity is exceptional. It has a nice side lighting.

A technical flaw is the 'jaggies' on the appliance on the far left of the frame and a little on the bucket. The inside of the bucket and the large white pipe on the left top are a little overexposed.

If anything hurts the scoring for this image it will be that viewers are confused about the message you are attempting to convey. Most DPC voters need that in order to give something a high score. This might be a little to artistic for our group. :)

Despite that this image will score well and place high.

Different...... you have captured some excellent lighting and this has really lifted the black and white tones, not sure if the bucket has any significance but I feel it distracts and has become to central also not sure what the wrist/arm band is all about but I suppose it adds to the intrigue.
I have given it a seven and will be most interested in seeing how the average DPC voter see's it. good luck.

wooo hooo! man booty is always a pleasure to see in a challenge! going back to make some comments while i have the time. i would have cropped out the washer..thats really all i see with this photo..gave ya a 10 on opening day...good luck

I don't understand where darkness somes into a naked man in the basment with his tools? Feel free to PM me so i can understand. It is techincally a very nice photo, but i am jsut not "getting it".

This is one of my favourites of the challenge. It leaves a lot to the imagination. I'm wondering if he's about to bring out The Gimp. :-)

I'm judging this based on the assumption that it meets the challenge. I'm dying to find out what it means. Hope he isn't harvesting something I eat! Very intriguing image. Nice contrast.

Fab photo! I love this image. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be scary, but the originality made me laugh. The composition is beautiful and the shadows and light are wonderful as well. Great job!

I obviously don't spend enough time in sheds. Although the bucket so close to him and under his gloved hand implies he's doing something with it but I have no idea what...or how that fits into the story.6
