 Taken with my new AlienBees B400s. Amazing the control you have over the lighting. I think I my have some flare around the edges but it is basic editing.

To me this is an average photo. It is lit correctly and the photo is sharp but it just doesn't have that star quality to be the next american idol.. well you know what I mean

Simple and nicely done. Looks like there could be a slight bit of smoothing caused by noise reduction, but just may be the nature of this particular image. The image has interest for the casual viewer.

this photo was taken well: good lighting, contrast, and focus. It really does not say anything to me though - lacks the WOW factor

Well done. Somehow not exactly scary enough for me ... maybe side lighting that wasn't as consistent across the hand would have been more impressive. Nonetheless, well thought out & well executed.
