Sorry for the form-letter type commentary. I̢۪m going to try to give almost everyone at least this breakdown to start. I would be happy to offer a more detailed opinion if you would like, though I don̢۪t consider myself a very knowledgeable photographer.
Here is how I broke down my score for your submission.
Content: 1/4 (Is the subject compelling? Does the choice of content match the challenge?)
Composition: 1/2 (Is the work well balanced and successful?)
Color/Light: 2/2 (Is light and or color used with skill and artistic intent?)
Clarity: 2/2 (Is the picture in focus? Are the elements clear?)
Total:6/10

Nice twist. This could be interpreted both in a positive fun way or as a bright manifestation of a dark addiction - gambling.
The overall general quality of the image is good. Lighting works well. Most viewers will search for a central place to focus their attention but will not find one. The will also wonder why the crane on the right side of the frame is included. The casino with lavender lighting in the foreground occupies a prominent place in the image but is the least architectually intersting building in the scene. It would have been better to have a more intersting building occupy such a prominent place. All that will contribute to lower scores. |

Night life as darkness ? hmmmm I am trying to figure out how and why ? if its the night, its ok.. if its the life, oh man you got to do something about it :D

| wooo...so crisp. the bright lights of the buildings make it look like it's late at night, but the sky says otherwise. |
