Incredibly super photo....I have tried to be so lucky as to catch a shot like this at my local beach, but haven't yet been able to pull it off! Wow, you really did this photo justice... |

I think much more should have been cropped out of the bottom of this picture. Otherwise a very nice photo! |

Gotta grade this a little higher on second viewing. Great clarity and colors. |

Good pose by the subjects. However, the composition and focus leads me to the Flora first, not the Fauna - the lower half of the picture could have been cropped out. |

All in a row! How much fish did you have to pay them to get them to pose?-) The foreground is a distraction - I'd lose some of it. Probably up to the post in the middle of the shot. |

I can't really put my finger on what it is about this image that is so strong... I love it... I think it's partially the repeating patterns created by the pelicans and the chaos of the brush pile... the composition here is excellent... great work :) = 10 - setzler |

How lucky you were to find this group photo op. These models are great. Nice picture, good composition, nice dof. My only question is whether this was oversharpened a little as my eye reads the branches and twigs on which the pelikans are sitting as a little too busy. It might have helped (for me!) if you had cropped out the bottom until about the first center pole. That would also give even more emphasis on the pelikans. 8 Journey |

The whole pic is in focus here, the detail on those pelicans is amazing. The composition is bang on, congratulations. |

So... how did you get them all to pose like that? (Never heard of trained pelicans before! :) Seriously now, this is a very nice shot! The colors in the birds themselves are very nice; I also like the overall subdued tone of the shot. I might have preferred a slightly different crop, with a bit more black above the birds, and fewer branches showing at the bottom, but that's simply my opinion. Very nicely done! |
